Hello! I’m Rachel, the woman behind Bloom Cycle Care. As a FertilityCare Practitioner, I have the privilege of teaching women and couples how to use the Creighton Model FertilityCare System. This is an all natural method of observing and charting a woman’s fertility cycle where one learns to understand, recognize, and interpret the naturally occurring times of fertility and infertility every woman experiences.

I have personally charted my cycles with FertilityCare for over ten years now. This fertility awareness based method has been a constant in my life through ever evolving reproductive phases. I was first introduced to charting my cycles before I was sexually active and still single. My husband and I then chose to use FertilityCare to avoid pregnancy for many years until we were ready to start a family. During that time, it helped me to navigate the diagnosis and treatment of a chronic disease called endometriosis. With babies came the new challenge of navigating postpartum fertility while breastfeeding and waiting for regular cycles to return. Moving forward, I am committed to continuing to chart my cycles even as I enter into peri-menopause in future years. When you learn FertilityCare, you have that knowledge for life. It is the decision of the couple how they choose to use it - to avoid or to achieve pregnancy.

I’d like to share my experience with FertilityCare… both as a user and now as a practitioner.

I spend a good deal of time reading about, thinking about, and talking about issues related to women’s health, fertility, relationships, FertilityCare, and so on. However, I have a complicated relationship with the vastness and anonymity of the internet. This is new for me to share about my FertilityCare experience in this type of forum. My hope is that it might offer some insight and support to you, the reader. I look forward to sharing and connecting. Thank you for being here!
